The World Economic Conference in Orlando

I had the opportunity to present Mr. Armstrong with a painting of his dog Napoleon, made by my wife.

It was a great honor to attend the Martin Armstrong World Economic Conference in Orlando, Florida this past November. I have been looking forward to attending this conference for a long time.

Martin Armstrong is a former hedge fund manager—one of the biggest hedge fund managers in the world during the 80s and 90s—and he is an economist as well. He created a computer system in the 1960s that is able to forecast economic trends and financial instruments. His economic forecasts are not dependent on human opinion, but they are part of the first artificial intelligence system that was ever created to forecast economic events. These economic events are sometimes forecast decades in advance. So it was with great anticipation that I looked forward to attending the World Economic Conference in Orlando.

I have to say that the conference was awesome. It was attended by close to a thousand people, and Martin gave detailed explanations of the different financial instruments, how they work, and what to expect in the years that are coming ahead, from now all the way up to 2032 and beyond. What makes Martin Armstrong's forecasts interesting is that they're not dependent on his opinion. He himself sometimes even disagrees with what his system is forecasting, but his system has been proven correct many times.

He provided a lot of explanations about the reasons why we face shortages, why the economy is entering into a recession, and he provided the historical basis as to why that is the case.

I also really enjoyed meeting the other attendees of the conference. They all had an open mindset, and it was really great to share the experiences with them. Martin has been doing these conferences for a long time, so they are well-organized and they're very pleasant to attend. It was great to see him in person. If you want to know more about international finance and what you can expect in the coming years, this is an annual conference I recommend!
